Departure from Sorrento
The Amalfi Coast tour is a full-day excursion that departs around 10 a.m. from Marina Piccola in Sorrento. From the moment you step aboard, you’ll be immersed in the charm of southern Italy’s coastline.
Cruising Along the Sorrento Coast
We begin by cruising along the Sorrento Coast, passing cliffs and picturesque villages, until we reach Punta Campanella — the point where the Sorrento Peninsula ends and the Amalfi Coast begins.
Hidden Gems Before Positano
As we make our way toward Positano, the captain will suggest the best spots for swimming and snorkeling, depending on sea conditions. Along the way, you’ll catch sight of the quaint fishing village of Marina del Cantone, the unspoiled beach of Tordigliano, the scenic Fiordo di Crapolla, a small fjord tucked into the cliffs.
Stop in Positano
Once in Positano, you’ll have the opportunity to be dropped off for about an hour. Take your time to explore the romantic streets, enjoy some shopping, or have lunch in one of the many restaurants overlooking the sea.
Discovering Amalfi Coast Treasures
Back on board, the tour continues with more coastal wonders: the colorful village of Praiano, the dramatic Fiordo di Furore, one of the only fjords in southern Europe, Conca dei Marini, famous for its seaside restaurants and finally, the historic town of Amalfi, where you’ll have another hour of free time to explore landmarks like the cathedral and the bustling piazza
Final Swim at the Galli Islands
As we return to Sorrento, the boat will cruise past the Galli Islands, a small archipelago steeped in myth. Weather and time permitting, you’ll enjoy a final swim in the turquoise waters before heading back to Marina Piccola.
