Start from Sorrento
Sorrento will be our base for this 2 day itinerary, this is our best and honest tip. Sorrento is nice and cheaper than other cities along the coast. From Sorrento, you can do many boat tours (including ours) departing from Marina Piccola. The idea is having a tour per day (one on the Amalfi Coast and the other in Capri), and then coming back in the afternoon. Our suggestion then is spending the rest of the time strolling around Sorrento. We have some articles that might help:

Stay in the city centre
Staying in the center of Sorrento is the best solution for having everything within walking distance. See the interactive map below.
Amalfi Coast 2 Day Itinerary: Boat Tour to Positano & Amalfi
Like we said at the beginning, taking a boat gives you the chance to see the coast under a different perspective. You will have still time to visit the cities we are going to see (like Positano and Amalfi) with some free time. And this is what this tour is about, driving you along the coast from Sorrento to Positano and Amalfi. Stopping in stunning places, beautiful beaches, and caves. Wait a minute, we have something better to show you:

Amalfi Coast 2 Day Itinerary: Boat Tour to Capri
Another amazing destination where you can enjoy the Italian “dolce vita.” Capri is anyone’s desire, a true gem in the Neapolitan area, that visiting here never gets old. Capri is part of our tour routes too, and spending a day on the boat there will definitely be one of your favorite activities. We have a detailed article that can be helpful to make the decision to do a tour:

Conclusions
This short article comes to an end. Hope has been helpful, and don’t forget to check our past articles in our blog section. They will show you why everybody says that the “Amalfi Coast is paradise on earth.” If you need help you can get in touch with our staff having assistance (inquire botton on the bottom right). Grazie e arrivederci.

Where are the best pick-up points?
Travelers might ask if they can be picked up directly from their hotel. This depends on whether your hotel has a private pier (like Il San Pietro). Most tours depart from the main dock in Sorrento (where we are) or Positano, Amalfi, Capri etc (Ps we can also pick you up from the last mentioned docks). For a private tour we are at your disposal.
Can we stop for lunch at a seaside restaurant?
This is a highlight for many. Popular spots like Restaurant Cantuccio in Nerano are only accessible (or best reached) by boat. Captains will usually drop you off and wait, but you must book these restaurants weeks in advance. This is a high recommendation if you really desire to enjoy a lunch by the seaside. We can make the reservation for you when you book the boat tour with us, just ask and we will make it happen.
