What is the best time to depart from Sorrento to Capri?

Most tours depart around 10:00 AM from Marina Piccola in Sorrento. If you want to beat the heat and the heaviest crowds at the Blue Grotto (main attraction), earlier is always better.

Is the Blue Grotto price included in a Capri Boat Tour?

The boat will take you to the entrance, but you must pay a separate fee to a local oarsman who transfers you into a small rowboat. Note: Queues can be 1–2 hours long in peak season; many private skippers suggest skipping it in favor of the less-crowded Green or White Grottos. If you really want to see it, an earlier departure is the best idea.
